1. Products and Services

The Alloyalist offers vintage, antique, estate, upcycled, and reimagined jewelry. We also offer jewelry restoration, redesign, and repurposing services using customer-owned heirlooms or vintage pieces.

Due to the age and delicate nature of vintage materials—including antique stones, worn prongs, and aged metals—all repurposing services are undertaken entirely at the customer’s own risk. While we handle each piece with the highest standard of care, The Alloyalist and Necessary Opulence LLC are not liable for any loss, damage, or breakage that may occur during stone removal, resetting, or repair.

Before any work begins, customers will be presented with a written intake form that outlines known risks, and we will only proceed once all terms are reviewed and signed.

We do not accept customer-owned materials or heirlooms without issuing a written receipt or intake record, which must be signed by both parties. The Alloyalist is not responsible for any items not properly recorded through this intake process.

Descriptions of our own inventory (for sale on the site) are made in good faith, with every effort to photograph and document any visible wear. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of vintage and estate pieces, we encourage all customers to review listings carefully. You may also refer to our Condition Standards before making a purchase. Questions? We welcome direct communication—we’d love to talk through any concerns prior to purchase.


2. All Sales Are Final

All purchases are final sale. We do not offer returns or refunds.

We are not a rental service.

For custom work, the service has been completed so there are no refunds, no exceptions.

Each item includes a tamper-evident security tag. If the tag is removed or altered in any way, the item is considered worn and is ineligible for return or dispute under any circumstance.

If your item arrives significantly not as described or visibly damaged in transit, you must notify us within 1 business day of delivery to request review. Any resolution (such as store credit) is at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to accept returns, but will act in good faith.

If any item is returned outside this policy (an approved exchange, for example), a 25% restocking fee will be automatically deducted.


3. Damages, Wear, and Chargebacks

All items are carefully inspected, photographed, and documented before shipment.

If a returned item is received damaged, altered, or worn, the customer will be held liable for the full retail value, and no refund will be issued. This includes:

  • Bent or broken settings
  • Missing or replaced stones
  • Surface wear inconsistent with photos
  • Altered clasps or chain lengths

Chargeback fraud (retaining merchandise while filing a refund dispute) is considered theft. We actively pursue fraudulent disputes to the fullest extent of the law, including submitting documentation to law enforcement and merchant processors.


4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Pricing is subject to change without notice, including adjustments based on market rates for gold and gemstones.

We accept major credit cards and reserve the right to require ACH wire transfer for high-value or flagged orders. Orders may be delayed or canceled if suspicious activity is detected.

Sales tax will be collected as required by state law.


5. Authenticity and Descriptions

Descriptions, hallmarks, materials, and attributions are provided based on over 20 years of professional experience, gemological training, and due diligence. However, some elements—such as design origin or date—may involve subjective interpretation. All representations are made in good faith.


6. Shipping

  • We currently ship within the United States only.
  • Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days.
  • Orders under $500 ship via insured USPS.
  • Orders over $500 ship via Malca Amit usually on Tuesdays.
  • An adult signature is required on all deliveries.
  • You will receive tracking once your order is dispatched.

Once an item is marked “delivered” by the shipping carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer. The Alloyalist is not responsible for delays, theft, or loss caused by the carrier. We reserve the right to delay shipment to wait for payment to clear and ensure no fraudulent chargebacks will be made.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including product photography, design descriptions, branding, graphics, and blog posts—is the intellectual property of Necessary Opulence LLC bda ALLOYALIST and may not be used, reproduced, pinned, copied, or republished without express written permission. All posts are protected by the following and should be credited, with permission, as such:

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, The Alloyalist and Necessary Opulence LLC disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or the purchase of any product. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the item in question.


9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information is used solely to process and fulfill your order, and is never sold or shared with third parties. Please see our full Privacy Policy for details.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from your use of this website or from any transactions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Martin County, Florida.
